My relationship with the company started off through a home inspection for a home I was buying to retire in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Imperial pest prevention was the subcontracted termite WDO (wood destroying organism) inspection company. During that inspection they did not find termites but a lot of wood decay from water in the roof. After the findings we did pursue the house because negotiations worked in our favor. About two years after that we thought we had ants in the house and it turned out to be termites. The man Jonathan that did our inspection warned us of the importance of a termite treatment and while it was on our list to do, we simply let it get past us. Anyhow, regardless we knew that we did indeed have to get it handled but what impressed me the most was the fact that imperial pest prevention sprayed at no charge that day to help minimize the swarm until they could get someone out the next day to do the full treatment. it was a true blessing because my wife was in fear our house was being eaten alive but Jonathan explained everything to us from the biology of termites, how they swarm, what it means, how they were going to take care of it, how the chemicals work, what to expect from the treatment etc. By the time he left we both were at peace and knew we were going to be in great hands. And mark my words, to this day, we still have not had a problem and follow any advice given on our yearly checkups.
