Not only are the notes constructive and helpful for plotting a new draft but they have an advantage over their American competitors if the screenplay is not set in the States. This is because Readers in the U.S sometimes find it difficult to understand the humor and mannerisms set out in non American scripts because the majority of what they read and see is American.
