we have remained members of Intelligent Investor for 15 year specifically for their excellent independent analysis of companies. We rely on their Buy/Hold/Sell recommendations accompanied by Risk Levels so we can make decisions based on our personal risk profile without having to do all the analysis ourselves. When we first started out we found the psychology of investing & learning about value investing and how to develop a portfolio very helpful. We continue to enjoy the style of writing & humour the analysts use in their articles - whether it be a specific company or a broader topic. Investing isn't for the faint hearted; we have been caught many times with Risk Levels changing (for the worse) and/or the investment thesis crashing; but the successes obtained by being an II member have far outweighed these disappointments.
