I recently brought the Titan 2 all weather tent because it had for me what I thought was the toughest most waterproof floor at 10,000
I took it out for a test run and set it up on some damp grass, and once set up I was stoked with the size and set up. I hopped in and layed on the floor to measure my sleeping space, thats when I felt the dampness seeping though the bottom with noticeable wet patches showing though the material.
If I had slept the night I can guarantee it would have soaked though and made my gear damp.
I didn't purchase a ground sheet as I was cutting down on weight but now Im wondering if its something I will have to purchase and always use every set up to avoid rising damp from the ground.
I wanna give this tent a 5 star rating but I feel as though the ground sheet should be an addition added to the tent as a condition of winter camping and a warning placed on the website stating that the floor will become damp unless ground sheet it used.
Im pretty gutted because I spent 300 hoping for an all in one and now I need to buy more kit :(
