I must admit that I was skeptical when I ordered my shower filter but I am very pleased with my decision. Before buying the filter I had been experiencing dry face and scalp for several years. I tried many lotions including some that were recommended by my doctor but none seemed to do much to improve the dryness. I noticed that the dryness improved when I traveled so I asked my doctor if he thought the problem could be caused by the water at my home. His response was that he doubted that water could be causing the problem. So, as I previously stated, I was skeptical that the water filter would help. Boy, was I wrong. I noticed an immediate improvement to my face and scalp and recommend this to anyone who is having problems with dry skin.
