Two days in Verona plus 5 at Lake Garda. Italian Short Break, excellently organised by Weekend A la Carte from start to finish. Hotel Firenze in Verona, good basic hotel . Standard rooms small so go for the upgrade. Included breakfast had a good range including hot food. Tickets for Carmen upgraded to platinum foc. Row 3 in the centre, fantastic! Would recommend Restaurant close to Romeo and Juliet. Balcony. Travattoria Pompier, very popular so book ahead , food and service excellent at a reasonable price. Excellent personal transfer by car to Grande Hotel Garonne. Lake Garda , perfect. Excellent room with balcony and Lake view. A La Carte Restaurant in the hotel a little expensive but food excellent . Included breakfast very good with excellent range. Plenty of restaurants locally , R. Nicholas well worth a visit. Perfect private transfer to the airport. This was a special break to celebrate my wife’s birthday, delayed by two years. Excellent support throughout by Hannah at Weekend a la Carte. All in all a perfect week and I would recommend anyone to use them. Thank you all.
