We have just returned from a two centre holiday in Verona and Lake Garda, with a night at the Opera which was amazing. Everything went well, the pick ups and transfers were seamless. Although the traffic around Lake Garda was very heavy, and the drivers told us it always is through the summer so you might need to allow more time for the Lake Garda to Verona airport return trip. Both hotels were very nice. The Bologna in Verona small rooms but very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Staff very pleasant and helpful, and marvelous central location. The Villa Capri was set in a very glamorous location on the shores of Lake Garda, lovely room wit fabulous view. No kettle in room unfortunately and no evening restaurant, just snacks, which was a shame as it was a good walk to Gardone, however plenty of restaurants there. Also it was worth a walk up to the old town. We also found the Verona card very handy. It encouraged us to look around the sites, although a map would have been handy. All in all very pleased by the holiday.
