We visited Verona for the opera festival and had the best seats in the house for Madame Butterfly. It was perfect, one of those memorable experiences. We stayed at the Academia, right in the heart of the city. It's a lovely hotel - comfortable, great breakfast - and, without exception, the staff are warm and friendly and helpful. We also had a few days in Lake Garda at the Savoy Palace, another good hotel. All our arrangements, including the private transfers, worked perfectly (thank you, Hannah!). A truly special holiday.
