On 7 January 2020, I purchased 3 vouchers from Itison for afternoon tea with 9 Royal Exchange Square. I telephoned the restaurant as soon as I purchased the vouchers to book any date and time available, only to be told there were no dates available. I was told to telephone them again to see if there were slots available. Lockdown occurred at this time. As soon as Lockdown was lifted, I telephoned Itison to enquire what was happening about these vouchers. I was informed by someone on the telephone that the offer was not now available and I would receive a refund. Having waited for several weeks for my refund to be paid into my bank account, I sent an email to Itison regarding this. I received a reply from them saying as the vouchers were out of date I wasn't entitled to a refund.
Firstly, to be treated like this by Itison is disgraceful. Secondly, 9 Royal exchange Square obviously offered more vouchers than they could honour.
I would urge everyone to rethink purchasing from Itison and 9 Royal Exchange Square
