I ordered three items on 11/16 for Christmas gifts. Two were delivered in the ordinary course, with no indication that the third was not soon to follow. After almost a month with no word from JP where the missing item was, I went onto the website to check. Over the course of a week I tried three ways on line to get some response from them, but no response. Finally I called and after some wait spoke to a new person who said the item was out of stock.
At no time did they inform me of this! I checked my quarantine for evidence of an e-mail they claimed to have sent, but it is not there. Anyway, they claimed it had been on back order, but were unable to say if it would ever be stocked again. This, although it showed up in a more recent catalog. No one ever offered to refund the money I paid up front, until I called. It's pretty clear from the course of events that they simply failed to put the third item in the package and by the time they noticed, they were out of stock.
Isn't this illegal? It should be. I will never order from them again.
