I received a discount code and found no place on the order page to apply it. I texted them and was advised they were applying the code. I received the product and the promised 20% discount was never credited. I phoned customer service and they were cold, and generally unpleasant. The operator stated there was nothing he could do once the order was placed. I explained the logic: that I could return the product and get the credit for a return and the reorder which would be much more expensive. There was no satisfactory response. I wanted to give the new J Peterman Company a chance and am extremely disappointed. I’m not bothering with a return as I have no faith in them to follow through. So long, J Peterman you’re not the company that once prided itself on customer comes first. What a dismal shame.
