Ordered a novelty light for a Christmas present. Once opened on Xmas day the recipient went to put the cable in the USB port and it fell inside the unit meaning it would not work. Contacted Jacamo who advised to return for a refund, I asked for an exchange but they would not do that. Went through the Hermes return to parcel shop, used the printer in the shop and it was sent back. Nearly two weeks later I heard nothing, I contacted Jacamo via email who advised they hadn’t received and could take up to two weeks for refund. I waited then contacted them recently as it was nearly a month now. They don’t have the item. Asked me for the receipt from the return (now nearly a month later so it’s been thrown out no doubt) and have been advised no refund. Why they didn’t ask for the receipt during first contact if they didn’t have the return after a few days is beyond me. I would have still had the receipt at that point. Anyway having used Amazon and Hermes returns for years, not one parcel has ever went missing. Using Jacamo one time, and receiving a faulty item, and then they advise they never received the return (even though it’s the same process and same company I’ve used for other companies) - doesn’t fill me with hope for ever using them again. Thanks god I’m not a heavy set man so I won’t ever need to use their company for clothes.
