We ordered enough stock of stair pillars, landing pillars, toppers, hand and base rails so that we could have a new staircase fitted. The order was processed quickly and the items were delivered on the day that I required them, however some of the packaging was damaged in the process (I wasn't at home when this happened), but that said there was no damage to the actual stock within, PHEW! I contacted Jackson Woodturners customer services, they offered me the cost of my delivery charge back as a goodwill gesture, which I accepted due to the damage. The quality of all the items ordered was good apart from the connecting pieces which were made from plastic (to our shock) and not from the same material as the pillars. Looking back the description it did not mention the word plastic but used the term 'ABS', which I didn't understand what that exactly was, however that said they were relatively easy to install by my contracted carpenter and they look good, now that they are installed.
