No option to enclose a card or get a gift receipt, but that was not evident until after the order was placed. I could not cancel the order without an order number. The order number was not available until the confirmation email was received, which took about 15 minutes (really!). Customer service then told me it was too late to cancel (really!). I ended up having to ask my credit card company to decline the charge...and now (about 30 minutes after placing the order), I get an email from J. Crew saying that the item is out of stock. Really.
