When we arrived we were given time to look around the cars before anyone appeared, the salesman walked past and asked us if we needed any help, he casually told us that if we wanted a closer look inside any of the cars to give him a shout and he would get us the keys- no hard sell. He brought us the keys for the 2 we asked about and again left us. When we had made up our minds we went in and spoke to him, he came out and went through the features of the car, he discussed the car we had chosen and the one we had considered, telling us about the features of each. We returned to the showroom, he gave us a price offer for our car, we compromised on prices quite quickly, we didn't get a load of sales patter (if we had we would have gone ) Called for the car a few days later same salesman there to show us the operation of the car- add the phones to the car memory etc, Lovely man not at all pushy and in our faces. Really pleased with south shields ford- didn't buy from scotswood ford because the salesman was in our faces before we had even reached the cars!
