Not ideal but somehow a solution, especially if you are somehow not able to cook properly (e.g. illness) and need to find a way to get enough nutrition. The drinks are ok, probably not your favourite taste in the World but you can eventually get used to it. The vanilla version seems to be the safer bet. Any more elaborate flavour, including strawberry, starts to taste too artificial, like bad candy. I personally prefer the Plenny Shake to the Drink, as it tastes less artificial, but you need to get used to the powdery texture. It is like drinking flour or, specifically, it tastes very similar to Gofio (if you have any experience with the Canary Islands and your mom also put it in your milk when you were young). But I have to admit the Drink is very convenient when travelling. This said, it goes easier down if it is cold than at room temperature. Otherwise, it is ok. You will still need to get solid food eventually during the day, it is a meal substitute, but not a 12h solution. The Plenny Drink seems somehow to be more filling than the Shakes.
Now this is the drinks. The bars... the bars are terrible! Like eating a very dense brick or a very bad cake. I keep trying, but I cannot force eat more than half. They taste awful, with a very artificial strong flavour and the texture... just no. Even the chocolate one is like an overcooked very heavy and old brownie. I usually avoid writing any bad reviews online, but I have no idea who can eat Plenny bars and pretend to enjoy them. They are bad and people should be warned. No matter how healthy they can be, that is just wrong. For last, I know they are a "funny company" and I honestly appreciate the humour and the packaging and the quality around it, but I could do without that much spam in my email account! Like seriously, the company doesn't need to comment on everything. Please, just stop. I don't want to necessarily unsubscribe because I am fine with the occasional info, but they could really turn it down a notch and keep it to, I don't know, one email per month.
