I recently completed my Calibrate year and reduced my body weight over 23%. More than that, I am now off blood pressure and cholesterol medication that I have been on for years and I have more energy and understand what foods are going to cause an afternoon slump and which ones will help me power through to my evening workout or dinner. The medication has been a crucial component, but even more so has been the coaching. I really liked how my coach helped me set a goal that made sense for me, one week I felt like I was spiraling so instead of following the focus class goal" we set a goal that was "following a mostly good plan" that involved getting back to basics. This was a game changer for me. I also love how the education is backed by the latest research, but written in a way that is understandable to everyone (but links to the research). As I'm waiting for year 2 to start, I felt myself letting some more sugar creep in that I didn't even consider eating previously. I think it's because the materials and coaching haven't been at the forefront of my mind and my schedule has gotten busy. I've still been weighing myself, and drinking water and mostly following the weight-loss triangle and have maintained my weight though. I set a new goal to track red foods again, too. Whenever I have had a medical question I had no problem messaging the medical team and getting a response; I had the same experience with Support. I'm also really enjoying the Facebook group now that gives us more community with other members. I HIGHLY recommend Calibrate - I have tried EVERYTHING and this was my "last ditch effort" last year as a birthday gift to myself. I'm SO GLAD I took the chance, and now my sister is in, too!
