Please be aware that this is a very expensive ($49 + ~$100/mo depending on your up-front commitment) way to access prescription GLP-1 drugs (Saxenda, Ozempic, etc) used off-label for weight loss. What they don't tell you is that these drugs are VERY expensive for average people ($1000-1500/mo) on top of the Sequence subscription if your insurance does not cover these meds for weight loss. In other word they depend of your medical/prescription insurance paying for the medication. Otherwise the only options available to you are a few non GLP-1 drugs (like Metformin) that are included in the outrageous cost of the subscription and have substantially less dramatic benefit for weight loss. So in short you are paying for a prescription that your PCP could write you. It does include a core Weight Watchers membership however the actual "diet plan" the Sequence dietician gives you is a joke. It was a 1 page handout with general diet recommendations and a picture of a plate with portion proportions that you could easily Google. Save yourself the money and join Weight Watchers directly and talk to your doctor if you are interested in weight loss drugs. (Though I am kind of angry that WW essentially scammed me out of $300 at the moment so maybe join Noom. ;-} )
