We purchased the universal and water glasses. They are beautiful and surprisingly durable. You do need to be a little more careful with these glasses as you would for any glass at this price range. I've found that a good microfiber cleaning cloth works as well as the linen cloth. Does my fine wine taste better? I think so and I've used them for many different types including port. The shape does help open flavors but the best thing is that it looks very different than any other glass and feels very wonderful in your hand. The water glasses complement the wine glass very well. When we downsized to an apartment from a house, we decided to use these glasses everyday. Why save them only for our guests!
