Ordered karrimor backpack plus jacket and voucher from sportsdirect. Had email saying backpack currently unavailable. Absolutely no further word about the rest of the order. Reordered same backpack from karrimor and magically it was said to be available. Delivery by myhermes supposed to be yesterday. Stayed in all day but no delivery. Checked emails at 7.15 pm. Tracking advice said delivery had been attempted??!! Had live chat after waiting ages in queue. Apparently "access was restricted". We had indeed had snow in village but other deliveries were being made and delivery person could have parked on village lane and walked the few yards to our house. Gave live chat person 3 phone numbers so that when delivery next tried, we can be rung and if need be meet the van on the lane. Said I was happy for parcel to be left in our greenhouse but was told a signature was needed. One neighbour on a cruise, the other in a wheelchair and we cannot possibly stay in all the time just in case a delivery eventually comes. Backpack from karrimor AND backpack from sportsdirect have both been charged for and I paid £4.99 postage twice. No sign of either one or the rest of my grandson's Christmas present. Really disappointed with karrimor, myhermes and sportsdirect. Internet lists many many complaints about myhermes. Why use them?
