I tried Providoor for the first time based on their promotion of food from well known chefs. So, let's deal with delivery first. The box my frozen products arrived in had seen much better days, and had burst on one side. While I'm all for reuse, this one was well past it's use by date. Now to what was inside. One of the products - French onion soup - was completely thawed. This was slightly inexplicable to me, as everything else was rock solid. So far, not great. Now, let's talk about the quality of the food bearing in mind my order was a mix of chef-based meals only. Mostly I've been impressed. Apart from the duck and Davidson plum spring rolls that I had to ditch, as they weren't so great. So far, the potato gratin and the South Indian chicken curry have been standouts. Noting I haven't quite finished trialling my order yet. Would I order again. Probably not, due to delivery standards. But it was worth trying I guess.
