First order received today. My coal merchant of 20 years retired so had to find someone new. Reviews for KG Smith and Sons were good yet when I phoned I was still pleasantly surprised by the professional and helpful customer service and advice offered by Lorna. The price was fair, the account set up straight away and the coal came today, 2 days later following a text message the previous day and another on the day of delivery. The driver found us (which isn't easy), found the coal bunker when I was walking the dog and had half filled it as I got home. Really excellent communication and service which is rare these days.
