I bought an AEG washer dryer which was certainly at a competitive price, but unfortunately the company totally fell down on delivery. The driver turned up at the correct time and was perfectly charming but he was unable to deliver the machine to my flat on the 1st floor. I was forced to employ other people to take the washing machine upstairs one flight of stairs. In London many people live in flats so how can a company send out a driver of a certain age without giving the support of a proper delivery service? The saving of the machine is offset by the cost of having to employ someone to move it from the communal area of the block of flats, even just up one floor.
