I am writing this review straight away after returning from the Redhill Kwik-Fit centre. I am not sure how 5 star reviews are given or am I the unlucky one but I'll write it anyways.
Where do I start - Firstly I don't believe my vehicle was worked upon straightaway after drop-in as I was around the centre for a few hours and I don't think work was started until noon. I was told I'll be given a call on the repair cost but got a call at 16:15 (centre closes at 5 pm) that some of the spares were incorrectly delivered so could not fix the defects on the car. I am not sure I believe that as it can't be all spares were incorrectly delivered. On the servicing part I again not sure if oil and other things were indeed changed as I checked the oil stick and it's dark as coal.
Secondly the checklist document states everything is OK when I know for sure that the suspension coil spring is broken. Looks like a tick box exercise has been undertaken. I had to explicitly ask for a print of the checklist wherein I know that it's a standard print to be provided with the receipt.
The staff were not rude but I did not find them the friendliest of the lot but not the main concern. I took my car based on the reviews but completely disappointed and never again will step into a Kwik fit centre ever again. I am raising a formal complain with Kwik fit as I want to know if I was given the service for the amount I paid.
I would not recommend this centre.
