There is definitely a learning curve and It can be an expensive lesson if you purchase the wrong lashes. Definitely stick to the basic lashes till you’re very comfortable with application and well acquainted with the styles. I prefer a natural (but better) look, and did not buy the right lashes for that. The E11, E12, and E13 are very dense and have a lot of curl, which doesn’t work on my eyes at all.
The quality and comfort of the lashes is very good if you chose the right lashes.
