My 16-year-old daughter now wears Lasso socks when playing Club/Varsity tennis and volleyball. She has very flat feet that increases her risk of sprains in addition to a tarsal coalition in her left ankle. Tarsal coalition is when two bones have grown together and will only be corrected by surgery. This limits her motion in that ankle and play stresses her tendons as they work to move an ankle that can't possible move. I ordered the Lasso Gear socks to try anything that would help. She loves them and they allow her to play with less pain and more protection under her ankle brace. I will making my third order and have shared with her podiatrist. As a concerned mom and volleyball coach, I now recommend Lasso socks to players and other parents. .....her only wish is that they were a tad bit shorter.
