The worst company to book a holiday with, booked a holiday for October 2020, which was also my wedding, obviously with covid, it got cancelled. I emailed them a few times near to the holiday to try find it if it had been cancelled, so I could let the wedding venue know, they kept saying they'd be in touch, in the end I contacted Virgin who we were flying with to ask them, it had been cancelled, emailed them to ask about a refund, obviously didn't expect my money back straight away with everything going on. Got part of my refund december 2020, after lots of phone calls and emails, emailed them to ask why I hadn't got the full amount they replied saying that it was the amount I was due back, so I called them they then changed there reply to that's the flight money back, they were still waiting for the hotel money back. I emailed the hotel, they said they hadn't heard from last minute.com at all. I did some research and found out regardless of what money last minute.com get back from the flights/hotel etc they have a duty to pay their customers back the full amount. After phone calls and emails getting fobbed off everytime, I got an email in February 2021 saying the rest of my refund would be paid to me soon. After about 2 weeks I got the money in my account, to find about £300/£400 still missing, I called again, they said with booking fees that's the amount I'm owed, I asked how much booking fees were they said about £20 per person, with two people that doesn't add up, they came out with more excuses, I don't think I'm gonna get the rest back, lesson learnt, won't be using them again, just wanted to warn others.
