I tried to rent from Leasys in Italy. When we arrived, we were told that since my husband was going to be the driver, the card had to be in his name. We have been to Europe multiple times and never had this come up before. I will say, buried in 4 pages of super light print, it does say that. Unfortunately, we did not have his card with us on the trip. They wouldn't let us change the driver to me, nor would they allow us to add him as an additional insured. They kept our deposit and we ended up paying double with Avis as we didn't have a reservation. I will never use Leasys again. Lesson learned. Just wanted to make others aware.
