The bulbs failed long before the advertised MTBF. Returned to LEDHut to claim under warranty only to find they have carried out a phoenix into a new legal entity. Surely carrying over the warranties into the new company would be a good thing to do for the brand and customer satisfaction? It would, unless the burden of these warranty claims was so large it was causing cashflow issues.
In summary, I'm guessing one reason for the company failure was the warranty claims on the unreliable bulbs. It wouldn't surprise me if they just repeated this cycle every couple of years if the bulbs aren't improved.
