My family member has been admitted several times due to ongoing illness. All the hospital do is give antibiotics and sent home. They are currently awaiting an operation.
Today we have received a call, as we cannot be there due to distance, that made us get in the car and travel to get there. Upon arrival, not one of the consultants, doctors or nurses could tell us why we received a call about family member having a stroke when they hadn’t. They were still in A&E bed not having seen anyone. You would think in a busy place, communication would be key but no.
I’m not happy and intend to make a complaint as soon as the lines are open
