If I could give a zero star rating, I would. We bought a Leisure Voucher to save £9 on a hotel room with Premier Inn. However, the wording is really vague and doesn't mention that you can't use the gift card on room bookings in advance (i.e. the cheapest rates) as the gift cards have to be swiped when you arrive at the hotel. So the only room we could book was £40 more expensive, which means it's cost an extra £31 to use this gift card. When I spoke to the helpline, they advised that I couldn't have a refund because I had already activated the card and the only place this is mentioned is in some poxy small print at the bottom of the activation letter - whereas the activation instructions are in big, bold colourful lettering to encourage you to do it straight away and lose your chance for a refund. I feel absolutely duped and I am appalled at the lack of responsibility or willingness to help us. I also can't raise a dispute with the bank because of the tiny small print and I've also wasted nearly 2 hours of my time chasing around on the phone. Absolutely AVOID. Why sell a discount service that COSTS MORE?! Absolute joke!
