I am a type 2 diabetic but have to take lots of steroids which generate more glucose but the active period is very unredictable so i also take insulin to comat the rise in glucose levels but it is difficult to judge the active lenght of both insulin and steroids. So come bedtime my Freestyle libre reading is only a guide which could go up or down during the night so if the Freestyle alarm goes off during the night as i am getting low readings a unit of Lift Glucose corrects matters with no fuss or bother. A God send.
