As I don't eat hay I refer to my 5 guinea pigs for an opinion....I didn't get a word from them as they were too busy eating it. ! The hay is fresh and virtually dust free. It smells sweet. I had one issue with the firm delivering it and The Little Hay Company dealt with it immediately and pleasantly. Not only is the quality high but the price is amazingly low. I highly recommend this company to anybody who is owned by a guinea pig.
