It's really good to find an alternative to carb heavy bread products. Lo dough is versatile and unique. My personal opinion is that whilst you can use the lo dough wraps as is they are a little tasteless and odd texture . You get used to it but much better when something is done to to them be it toasted on a pan, used in a toastie maker, as a flan base quiche, pizza etc. The cake bars are massive and first time I had one I couldn't eat it all and believe you me that is something. I think on their own they are a little bit dry. Not horrid just between with low fat custard or yogurt or even dip in your tea or coffee. Great hot with custard...choc pud! The brownie mix is not for me I'm afraid. It's dead east and simple to make but money came out tasteless and bland and I left it to cool and next day it was going mouldy so dont know what happend there. Maybe a funny batch I will give it another go though. Still to try the southern coating and hoping it will be good. Customer services wise the guys at lo dough cannot do enough for you. I had an issue with my first subscription order and they righted it immediately such helpful and polite people. Be sure to check out the lo dough you tube channel as I found that such a good source of ideas and it really makes you realise that you can do so much with lo dough . I soak mine in egg to add flavour and herbs and such. The skys the limit!
