Having changed my power suppliers several times over the years in the vain attempt to get a good deal, I was always left wondering if I had done the right thing or chosen the right suppliers. Always the temptation to be hooked by the low initial monthly payments until month 6 and all of a sudden I am in debt to them as it was actually costing more a month that I was paying. The inevitable change over to another company just seemed to start the process over again and to be honest I had had enough. Therefore, with my last supplier, I agreed a fixed rate for 2 years at £148 a month and away we went. However, the same thing happened again and within six months, I again was in the red.
