SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We booked parking at Southend airport through Looking4.com. We got an official-looking confirmation via email and paid roughly of just under the going rate for a 2 week holiday/car park stay at ‘SACP’. We thought no more of it until we arrived at the airport for an 8am flight with a toddler and our young son, following the full address provided by Looking4.com in the satnav, we found the signs for ‘SACP’ and as we approached the airport, we were lead into a derelict industrial estate. We arrived at a gate with an old rusty ‘SACP’ sign on it but it was fully padlocked and the ‘car park’ was locked and empty, bar two smashed up cars in the lot. Upon speaking with a neighbouring mechanic business we were informed that the lot we were directed to had not been used for airport parking in ‘about 9 months’, and we were not the first to turn up there unawares. In a panic we tried to call them but the one number I could find was ‘disconnected’. I then sent 4 emails to the company that were completely ignored. I eventually got a reply a week later from somebody spelling out their terms and conditions and absolving themselves of any responsibility for what happened. No explanation, no attempt to find out what had gone wrong, just three emails from three separate people with the same blanket response - ‘we are just a comparison website’ not our problem or our fault’. I feel sorry for any other family that used these rogues. Disgusting thieves that just take your money then effectively ‘block’ you.
