The jacket is well made of excellent material and construction but the pockets are not satisfactory. My old Simms jacket has two big pockets on the outside and pockets inside the jacket allowing storage of plenty of tackle. These pockets are too small, of irregular size and open vertically making it difficult to put much in them as there is no room and the jacket becomes tight. What’s more the vertical zip means tackle can fall out easily. I use all Cross travel rods and like the brand and bought the jacket online without looking closely at it which I much regret as it was expensive. My guide in Iceland had the same jacket and the same criticisms.
