We ordered a Sofa Topper in Dark Grey from Lords & Labradors on January 17th. Their website states that "Our delivery service is currently experiencing slight delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get your order to you. Our goal is to deliver within 7-10 working days."
I rang on January 30th to check the status of the order to be told "It'll be with you sometime next week."
I've now called today on February 6th at 09:35 and was assured a update within 10 minutes. Needless to say no-one came back to me.
I've just called again, (the time is now 10:45) and been told that the order will take another two weeks. That's over a month for a simple order and delivery when their commitment is 7-10 days and I've had to chase them . . .
When asked why they couldn't be proactive and keep their customers up to speed with the issues they're having they simply offered a "sorry"
I've left the order with them and it'll be interesting to see just how much longer this takes
