My book took a little longer than expected to arrive but it came before Christmas so that's all that mattered. I gave it as a gift and even though I reviewed it online before I bought it, it was wrapped in plastic so I didn't open it, and waited to open it with my friend. I made a friendship book and used the pictures available but changed all of the wording to my own and also did a blank page with my own words. I liked being able to make the font bigger, etc. I got the matte hardcover and it turned out SO good. A great size. Not too big, not too small. It was fun picking the characters, even if they don't look just like you, that is the fun of it. I feel like it was pretty close to real life in the way you can customize the way you look. I would definitely recommend this as a special gift for anyone in your life, whether a friend, family member, or loved one.
