Replacement battery! does exactly what it sounds like, and my formerly terrible battery life is back on top, my phone died en route to the shop.
The switch over happened while I waited, I could have wandered off for a coffee but was in a bit of a rush. The guys were super friendly and didn't just replace it and throw me out, but talked through some of the other issues with my antique fruit based communication device. All good. just do it.
