I want to say something about the outstanding help and service provided by Love Lights. Several years ago, back in 2009, my wife and I purchased a David Hunt Classic CL16 6-light Pendant, from another supplier, for our dining room. We have always been very pleased with it and, when we came to update the lighting in our lounge recently, decided to purchase another one for the lounge, also. Unfortunately, our first contact with a supplier who seemed to have the item in stock proved very disappointing. We ordered the item as pictured on their website, which matched the one in our dining room, but when it arrived it had gold, not ivory, candles and the lamp fittings were SES not bayonet type. When we queried this, the company told us that this was the only version they had in stock. They were, however, very good in arranging a free return and full refund and have since changed the picture on their website to show only the version they sent us, so as not to confuse or mislead further customers. We contacted other suppliers who gave us the same information, that only the gold candle / SES version of the David Hunt Classic CL16 Pendant was available, even though, in one or two cases, both versions of the product were pictured on their website. We noticed this to be the case with Love Lights and when we contacted them received a whole load of information which proved to be extremely helpful. Love Lights told us that the pendants are made to order by David Hunt and that, if we sent Love Lights photographs of our existing pendant and our precise requirements, they would forward them to David Hunt with the expectation that it might well prove possible for a ‘replica’ item, matching our existing pendant, to be produced. This is exactly what happened. We sent Love Lights photographs and details, Love Lights forwarded them to David Hunt, who made exactly the pendant we required, not only ivory candles and bayonet fittings but also the colour we required, a ‘standard’ gold rather than the rather ‘red’ gold of the item we had been sent by the other supplier. Love Lights, we cannot thank you enough. You went way beyond the ‘extra mile’ in dealing with our enquiry, in a courteous, caring and professional manner. You helped us to achieve a small dream which we were on the point of giving up on. Your level of customer service is outstanding. Love Lights — you are a star!
