October is when we start thinking about Christmas as the nights draw in and there is a chill in the air. We plan to spit roast a goose on the KJ on the 25th. Talking about what we will prepare led me check on on my charcoal store - was I running low? Indeed I was so I ordered a couple of bags of oak charcoal. This order arrived the very next day, which happened to be my birthday. What a great feeling to get two big boxes giving off a "Loved by Logs" vibe. Not sure if they will last until Christmas Day but knowing delivery is so swift, running low shouldn't be a big drama!
