This couch is covered with a very weak fake leather that tears as soon as you look at it. When the first tear appeared, we tried to exercise the warranty. They told us that we had to pay £50 to have the couch evaluated. They added "It's the law." I'm not quite sure what the disinterested operator thought they meant by this. I think they were trying to intimate that they couldn't legally give a refund without this service (which is an obvious lie). At best, it's a legal loophole in the small print that allows them to shirk their responsibilities. A scam, in any case. 4 years on, the couch is more patch than couch. Truly one of the worst purchases I've made. Shoddy product, borderline criminal behaviour in not honouring the warranty.
