Was with a family member to the BHX luggage point on 29/06/2022 around 7:30pm who wanted to get their bags wrapped. The agent was serving two other people which was fine but did ask what we would like. When we mentioned bag wrapping we were given the price and told it was £13.50 per bag in an “are you sure you can afford it” tone. We continued to wait. Our time came and unfortunately, there was someone else behind us who was told by the agent, who was clearly irritated and flustered, that they would be waiting at least ten minutes because he had “all these” to do (our bags). When the first bag was lifted unfortunately, my mum made the mistake of asking if the bags get weighed. The poor agent was so visibly annoyed with us that he clutched his head in his hands and huffed that no, weighing is self service and we can use the (broken/not accepting cards) scale machine to do it for a charge of £1 per bag. I suggested we leave and go and check in because he clearly wasn’t happy. I know people are human and have bad days at work but Lord, in future I know not to bother with bag wrapping at Birmingham airport.
