Proud owner of a Lupe for almost a month now. Really works well as an upright cleaner. Excellent suction and great pick up on carpets and tiled floors. Unfortunately I’m not able to use on my stairs with the cleaning head as it is too wide. A smaller cleaning head for stairs would be a great accessory. I have to use in carry mode to clean the stairs using the upholstery tool and this doesn’t give as good a clean and takes much longer. Not what I wanted. Converting to carry mode is easy. The instructions are clear and all parts fit together well with positive clicks to let you know you’ve done it right. The carry mode works OK but as the wand is long - great for reaching high surfaces - but not easy to control the brush or tool at the end. Close up dusting and cleaning using the Crevice or Upholstery tool is much easier to use without the wand to give better control especially when cleaning delicate areas and ornaments. Unfortunately most of the time you will then need to use one hand to carry the main body while manoeuvring the crevice / upholstery tool with the other hand. Not ideal to have to use both hands. Accessory mount drops off frequently when using the cleaner in upright mode - same problem with one of your competitors. Lupe have done a great job designing an unusual but attractive cleaner. It is very well made and all the parts fit together well. The instructions are clear and the materials used to make the cleaner are definitely top quality. I am pleased to now own a Lupe that but hope that more refinements will improve the hand held mode in the future.I can recommend to my friends as an excellent, well designed and well made upright cleaner but will advise them to buy a separate hand held cleaner as well.
