To start off, I think this is one of the best vacuum's I've used in quite a while - including a much loved corded and bagged Miele. It makes short work of my long haired cat's very fine dark hair over cream carpets while my previous cordless Dyson struggled hopelessly. I really like that to start cleaning is fraction of seconds rather than with the cordless having to take it off the wall and then attach the stick was tedious - hadn't realised how annoying not having a vacuum that stood up was. The noise is really pleasant and reasonable, my cats certainly don't run for cover albeit it I've only ever had to use it on the eco setting. The performance the eco setting gives is amazing and it means to I only have to charge the battery once a week and that's with doing all of downstairs every other day and upstairs once a week. With my Dyson, I could only do almost all of downstairs on one charge! The only point I would say that is slightly disappointing is doing the stairs. The portability of the Lupe is brilliant, love those little feet, but the hand attachments are not up to the job of pulling fur/hair off the stairs. I'd love to see this area being developed in future for the Lupe to be perfect.
