I was not sure I needed this vacuum. I have a corded vacuum already, but with several dogs and toddlers in the house, we have constant debris hitting the floor. The Lupe has made my life so much easier, because 1. It is smaller and therefore easier to store near where the mess is usually made 2. It is lighter when in handheld mode, so I can clean the couch and high chairs more easily 3. I don't have to stop and find a new plug. I find it is not great picking up debris where there is a transition between different flooring. The battery life is excellent when using it in regular vacuum mode (4-5 days!) but less great when using it for a lot of handheld mode. The suction is great, and this can make it more difficult to push and pull on certain types of flooring. On the regular carpet, it glides like a dream, easier than my regular vacuum. On one of my rugs, it is a little difficult to push. Easy on hardwood and other rugs. I did not know I needed this vacuum until I got it! I love it. Worth the money.
