Despite pre-booking and returning late at night after a long flight, I was unable to exit the mid-term parking and the machine requested a payment of £160. This was really frustrating as the first attendant on the radio system demanded the booking reference number and would not accept the registration number to check the booking which involved me emptying my case. I was further frustrated after a delay to be told by a second attendant they could use my surname to check the booking!!!! I will consider alternative parking at my next visit to Luton
