I have been ordering from MacKenzie for several years. It is expensive, but they do have savings offers, so I have learned to really watch for those. Buying something on line like this definitely means taking a chance that you will like the product. While I have gotten some things that I thought were awful, I have a long list of things that I always keep in my freezer and that we eat regularly and always enjoy. As we age and health and mobility issues become more prominent, I have appreciated the Mackenzie food service more and more. Suggestions for even better service would be: offering things like vegetables in smaller packages (such as servings for 2), offering sample sizes (there are things I would like to try, but don’t want to spend a lot of money on something I am afraid I would not like). I do appreciate the reviews of products and rely heavily on them. One thing that is hit or miss that could definitely use improvement is the notification of delivery system. Sometimes I get updates, notices of impending and actual delivery times. Other times I get absolutely nothing at all. Yesterday I got a delivery with no notice of impending or actual delivery. The box sat on my porch until my daughter accidentally discovered it. Fortunately it was cold out so the food was fine, but I definitely think I should have had notification of the delivery. I would also like it if there was a way to voice opinions when/before an item is discontinued. Two of my favorite food items are no longer available and I really miss them! Ginger salmon cakes and chocolate delight cookies, in case anybody cares!! They were both delicious—why are they no longer available?!
