I am currently awaiting Made To Last's delivery company (Green2) to collect a USED and damaged sofa that they delivered on Wednesday, it is now Friday. I was informed the corner sofa bed was "brand new" (although a clearance item - see photo of attached email indicating it was brand new), and paid only roughly £400 less for it (approx £1700 instead of £2100). The sofa clearly has about 12 months of wear, came with a disgusting used sofa bed matress inside it that I would need to dispose of (what was the plan there?!?) and has multiple wear, tears, grease marks and to top it all off, a MOTH! So now I have moths in my brand new house, great!!!
The current situation is that Green2 cannot collect the sofa until the following Tuesday, leaving me to store the sofa (WITH MOTHS!) in my house for 6 days. I have only been offered an apology, zero recourse (for taking a day off work and now being expected to take another day off work!!!)
